Americans have a lower risk of having a heart attack or stroke at present with the use of statins than they had a few years ago. He also mentioned that within this time, awareness has been spread about high cholesterol levels and how bad it is. With time, people who are more likely to have heart attacks have taken steps to change their lifestyle to reduce the risk as much as they can. Most of the patients who were reached effectively were diabetic patients, with more than 60 percent of them belonging in this category.
